The Shingi Shingon Buddhist monastery has cherry blossoms, beautiful greenery, autumn leaves, and the lovely sights of the four changing seasons.

The broad precincts, scattered with great temple gates and buildings, also boast the Taho Tower, a remnant of the former Koyasan Great Tower that is designated as a National Treasure. In addition, precincts with a medieval appearance are designated as national historic sites, and in the spring, 7,000 cherry blossom trees will bloom across 36 acres of their land.
