Mongakuyu

Remnants of an aqueduct used for farming during the medieval times. Even His Imperial Highness the Crown Prince has paid a visit here. The aqueduct spans around 5km and is recognized as a Cultural Property by the prefecture. It is said to have been constructed by Priest Mongaku from Jingo-ji Temple in Kyoto.

A pilgrimage road departing from Nyusakado Shrine heading towards Niutsuhime Shrine. There is a steep slope in the road but the top commands an impressive view of Kino River and gives one a sense of achievement.

Hanazono Hydrangea Garden

Located along the Koya Ryujin Skyline and home to 1,000 blooming rhododendrons in mid-May, 3,500 blooming hydrangeas from mid-July to mid-August, and autumn leaves in the fall. You can enjoy the wild flowers and grasses of each seaso here.

Tour of historic sites in Amano no Sato

This historic village is home to many sites such as UNESCO World Heritage Site Niutsuhime Shrine said to have been constructed 1,700 years ago, remnants related to the Kobo-Daishi Kukai, founder of a religious sect, and historic sites from the Gempei period. Koyacho Ishimichi Kataribe no Kai（Storytelling Guide）

Choishi-michi is a path that was cleared by Kubo Daishi. It serves as a pilgrimage route and flourished as an approach to Koyasan. The storytelling guides lead guests on a climb up the path where they can enjoy the surrounding nature while learning about the history of the area.
