Shrine Kudoyamacho、Kudoyamacho Zenmyosho-in Temple (Sanadaan) Zenmyosho-in is a temple that stands on the grounds of the former home of Warring States era generals Masayuki and Yukimura Sanada, who lived in exile here. After passing through the gates that bear the rokumonsen crest used by Yukimura, visitors can find the grave of Masayuki Sanada and a treasury with artifacts of the Sanada family. Shrine Kudoyamacho、Kudoyamacho Niukanshofu Shrine An old shrine founded by Kubo Daishi, Niukanshofu Shrine stands at the beginning of Choishi-michi, the path that leads to Koyasan. Shrine Kudoyamacho、Kudoyamacho Jison-in Jison-in stands at the start of the Koyasan pilgrimage route. Its principal deity, Maitreya, is believed to be an incarnation of founder Kubo Daishi’s mother. Also known as Nyojinkoya and Enketsuji, the temple has a strong association with women, and the temple’s ema (wooden prayer plaques) feature a pair of breasts.
