Niu River (Tamagawa Gorge)

The Nyu River flowing through Tamagawa Gorge has gained popularity as one of the best scenic places in Kansai. The clear waters of the river weave through the peculiarly shaped rocks of the gorge, which is listed as a Wakayama Prefecture Designated Cultural Asset. Visitors can enjoy many outdoor activities including playing in the river, camping, hiking, fishing for ayu and amago, and watching fireflies.

Koyacho Ishimichi Kataribe no Kai（Storytelling Guide）

Choishi-michi is a path that was cleared by Kubo Daishi. It serves as a pilgrimage route and flourished as an approach to Koyasan. The storytelling guides lead guests on a climb up the path where they can enjoy the surrounding nature while learning about the history of the area.
