This is a real brewery experience (not a "factory tour") showcasing the birth of handmade sake. Reservations required at least 2 days in advance. In addition, there is a sake tasting party with delicious seasonal varieties to try.

Negoro Lacquerware: Public Lecture (Iwade City Ethnographic Museum)

This museum is the base for communicating the history, folklore, and culture of our dear hometown Iwade. Alongside permanent exhibitions, the museum holds special exhibitions, works by cultural associations, historical studies and lectures, and courses teaching traditional handicraft (Negoro lacquerware) techniques.

Negoro-ji Temple

This Shinyoshi Shingon Buddhist temple, boasting nearly 900 years of history is the perfect place to view sakura cherry trees in spring and the change of autumn leaves in fall. Founded by Kokkyo Daishi (Kakuban Shonin), the temple contains a Great Tower of National Treasures (Kokuho-to) as well as many other cultural assets.
