Tsunejiro Matsuyama Memorial Museum

A museum displaying personal items and other artifacts belonging to local politician Tsunejiro Matsuyama. Additionally, the museum also displays sketches from the late Ikuo Hirayama, a famous master painter who was married to Matsuyama's eldest daughter, Michiko.

Niu Falls

With a height of 25m and a breadth of 3m (1m during normal water levels), the water of Nyu Falls falls straight down, uninterrupted by any surrounding rocks. The falls are located in the mountains and the water quietly falls while reflecting the changing seasons of the nature around them.

Former Kayano house (Oishi Junkyoni Memorial Museum)

The Former Kayano House was built in the mid-Edo period as a satobo (monks' housing) of Koyasan Shinzoin Temple, and was used as such until the Meiji era. It was opened to the public in January 2010.
