A relaxing cafe inside a traditional Japanese house with a very fitting name "Nagomi ("Calm" in Japanese.) cafe". Besides the daily cake plate made using seasonal local specialties, the set meal served with Amano rice during lunch hours is also very popular. This place is so popular that sometimes the food is sold out. The number of seats is also limited so it is recommended to make a reservation on the day before on weekends and holidays.
In front of the cashier, you can find yellow eggs from chickens raised with natural fodder used for making pudding and for making rice topped with raw egg, as well as Amano cherry tomatoes for sale.

Hanazono Hydrangea Garden

Located along the Koya Ryujin Skyline and home to 1,000 blooming rhododendrons in mid-May, 3,500 blooming hydrangeas from mid-July to mid-August, and autumn leaves in the fall. You can enjoy the wild flowers and grasses of each seaso here.

Horikoshishaku Kannnon

The principal image of this religious site is the 11-faced Goddess of Mercy which is rarely shown to the public. It is known to cast a miraculous cure to those with chronic spasms. The 600-year old camellia tree found here has been recognized by the prefecture as a natural monument. The view from within the compound located 650m above sea level is also worth checking out.
