Tsunejiro Matsuyama Memorial Museum

A museum displaying personal items and other artifacts belonging to local politician Tsunejiro Matsuyama. Additionally, the museum also displays sketches from the late Ikuo Hirayama, a famous master painter who was married to Matsuyama's eldest daughter, Michiko.

Now selling Sanada Himo, which are associated with Yukimura Sanada. These braids started off as wrappings for swords and sword straps, but more recently the colorful designs have been used for cell phone straps, coasters, bag straps, and even as obijime (cord to secure a kimono obi) and gift wrapping.

Niu River (Tamagawa Gorge)

The Nyu River flowing through Tamagawa Gorge has gained popularity as one of the best scenic places in Kansai. Former Kayano house (Oishi Junkyoni Memorial Museum)

The Former Kayano House was built in the mid-Edo period as a satobo (monks' housing) of Koyasan Shinzoin Temple, and was used as such until the Meiji era. It was opened to the public in January 2010.
